Getting to Maastricht

Maastricht is situated in the heart of Europe, surrounded by Belgium and Germany. Maastricht, the most southern city in the Netherlands, is a compact city, and thanks to its central location in Europe it is a short trip away no matter how you get here. The city has eight airports nearby, good national and international train connections, and extensive road network.

The Netherlands and the neighbouring countries are members of the Schenghen zone, which means you will generally be able to access any of the other member states without going through passport control checkpoints again.
