Maastricht University warmly invites all members of the LIGO/Virgo Collaboration to the 2018 fall LVC-meeting that will be held 4th-7th of September in Maastricht, in the most southern region of the Netherlands.
As a recently joined member of the LVC, Maastricht University is delighted to have the opportunity to host LVC-meeting in, what is considered by many, the most beautiful city in the Netherlands.
In order to give the attendees the most pleasant experience, we offer a very complete package that includes conference fee, welcoming reception hosted by the Governor of the province of Limburg, conference dinner, lunches on all four days of the conference, and free access to public transport to move around the city.
Please note that the city centre of Maastricht is easily reachable by public transport from several major European airports, including Amsterdam, Eindhoven Airport, Brussels, and Dusseldorf, and that no extra customs are required when crossing the border. Simply fly in, take the train, and be dropped off at the city centre of Maastricht.
On this website you will find all practical information on the conference, accommodation, travel, the venue, as well as on the city of Maastricht itself. If there are any additional questions, feel free to contact the organisation committee at firstname.lastname@example.org
Authors are invited to submit proposals for poster presentations of recent results, work in progress,
new ideas and other projects which may be of interest to the LVC community. Authors of
accepted posters are expected to be present at their posters during the Poster session to discuss
their work and answer questions. An A0 portrait poster board will be available for each accepted
poster and it’s the authors’ responsibility to bring their own printed A0 poster and put up their
poster at the conference wall before the poster session starts.
Deadline for poster submission: 28 August 2018
Please send your submission to: email@example.com
